So i got here the day before yesterday. and it turned out that the friend i made in budapest, Ilde, decided to come here for the weekend too and is staying in her friends flat. So we met up yesterday, walked around the city a bit. saw some sights, but it was a very cloudy day. but thats good cuz i was in the middle of laundry and the only clean shirt i had left was longsleeved. after dinner we went back to my hostel to pack up my things and cancel the rest of my hostel reservations so that i could stay with her and her friends. we watched sweeny todd and monsters inc last night on their computer. this one in fact. the one im typing on now. sweeny todd was GREAT! way better than my expectations. so ill be here till tuesday morning. today i think we're going to visit the castle, the beer garden, the jewish quarter... maybe buy a new pair of jeans cuz the one i brought here got either lost, stolen, or accidentally stolen as id like to think. i probably just lost them.
food and meal planning can get sort of annoying sometimes. especially because i'm travelling alone. buying groceries can be very economical for 2 or more, but for me its turned out to be more of a hassle than its worth, most of the time, and ive ended up having to either leave food behind, or schlep it around with me, which is just more stuff to schlep, and sometimes it gets all messy in the process...
ilde just woke up. guss its time to start the day!
